ソロ・アーティストとしての初シングル。A面ではジェフがリード・ボーカル。ミッキー・モストがコーラスをつけている。B面はジミー・ペイジにより書かれ、ジミー、ジョン・ポール・ジョーンズ、キース・ムーン、ニッキー・ホプキンスが録音に加わる。1972年には「Rock My Plimsoul」を加え、ピクチャー・ディスク化されている。ジェフ自身、この時代のレコードを気に入っていない発言を度々している。イギリスではいまだにこの曲をリクエストされることもあるため、イギリスのツアーがいやになることもあるという。
The first single as a solo artist. Jeff sings on A-side. Micky Most on side chorus. B-side was written by Jimmy Page. Recording members are Jimmy, John Paul Jones, Keith Moon, Nicky Hopkins. "Hi Ho Silver Lining" was re-released as a picture label, with "Rock My Plimsoul" on B-side, 1972. Jeff himself often tells that he doesn't like his single records in these days. In England, still now some people request this tune, so sometimes he gets tired to tour England.
